Advantages over chemical fertilizer:

    - Provides constant release of nutrients for 300-400 days

    - Decrease mortality in sod - fewer callbacks

    - Easy to apply.  Works well in all spreaders.

    - Promotes even growth - not fast growth and yellowing

Recommended rates are same as new lawns:

    Apply 40 to 50 pounds per 1000 sq. ft (10 x 100 feet), mix into soil at depth of 4 to 6",smooth seedbed and install sod immediately.  Water thoroughly with fine spray  and continue periodic watering until roots are established.
